& Pictures Too!

Where the inspiration to decorate my room all started, from the gold chest I got at Ross! I'm in a gold-pink-black phase... (^_^) After decorating this chest, I absolutely went crazy / wild afterwards and started decorating everything!

Close up of my desk area!! After I decorated my desk, I started decorating my imac.. Then pulled out all my charmmy kitty figurines and hello kitty plushies out of the box where I stored them when I moved and displayed them here.

A pen/pencil or whatever holder.. I used half of my bra that I don't use to decorate it!! LOL

I used to have the mirror on top of the charmmy table, but I moved that somewhere else. Actually the mirror is on top of a storage bin that I just threw shiny rhinestoney pink fabric over.. I pinned trim to it.. I plan to put a big bow on it later.. Just have to make it!

My magazine wall, I actually don't buy many magazines anymore cuz we have a great japanese magazine scan community here on livejournal, so I decided to just tear the covers off my magazines and tack them up here.. I started running out of nice magazine covers, so I had to sacrifice by putting non-covers at the top. If you look closely, you'll notice that ayumi is in the middle column! haha I purposely made it that way.

Close up of the frame I decorated.. It was this ugly woooden frame so I just covered it with hot pink post-it paper and added black lace right on top, some gems, a black bow, and glued an old heart pendant on top!

that's it for now!! if i make any more changes or add more stuff, I'll definitely post it up!

oh and here's me wearing the circle lenses i got.. ah i forgot which one i got..
i was a bit disappointed that they're not as blue as i hoped, they're kind of dark.. but i still like it.. they're very comfortable too, surprisingly more comfortable then the regular colored lenses that i wore..

oh and im wearing a pink lipstick by Wet and Wild! I love it!!!!! I want to buy more cute pink (cheap) lipsticks.. hehe I need to practice more with makeup.. rawr!!

I'm so excited!!

So here is the final result! Last Saturday, me, himitsudayo, eat_juice, and hellohaylee got together and had a dressup and photoshoot! It was our last get together before Haylee had to go back to California.. Needless to say, we took loads and loads of pictures, and cooked curry and watched some Meteor Garden! It was a very fun, girly day! I wish for more days like this in this year to come!!!! I love it!!!!! himitsudayo did such an amazing job taking our photos and turning it into a hot magazine!! I love it!! We were discussing how we want to have a photoshoot every month and come out with new issues!!! <3 Im so excited about this!!! :D I just have to say, I love my amazing friends.. I wish that I wasn't suffering from major allergies in the photoshoot, this Dec & January I been having a lot of sinus congestion, it sucks.. booo.. but enough about that ...

Stupid girl stealing photos!

I am very upset! And very tired of biters and stealers on the internet!

Ok, so I was browsing the hello kitty forums and came upon this post of this girl, "Foxy Cleopatra" promoting her blog and one of her entries where she took a trip to Honolulu with her friends.

So I was like.. Oh I gotta go look at that.. Because I am from Hawaii and wanted to see what she did on her trip. So at first I was like, "aww look at all the cute photos.."

But then I looked closer and found out some of the photos in her blog, were STOLEN.

I remember my online friend, Janine love_janine (who also lives in Honolulu) posting photos of her hello kitty and rilakuma collection (e.g the hello kitty in the sand, rilakuma overlooking the beach from the hotel room) and I as I looked through this foxy cleopatra's post, I saw she used all of Janine's photos in her post, as well as Janine's photos of the food, the cake, the dessert, even the ring she bought... It's all in Janine's flick site here:

And found out this biter, Foxy Cleopatra was actually one of the winners for Round 1! She actually won a prize too >_< To think that all she did was take some photos from other people's websites to make up a fake entry for a contest is really low.. and she actually won.. argghghhhhh ..

This makes me really upset...

I know from experience how it feels when people steal your photos, as well as your artwork, and even your writing.. I have experienced it all.

So I deeply sympathize with Janine, and have emailed marketing@hellokitty.com about this.

I hope there is some sort of justice served. This is so not right.

If Foxy or whoever knows her reads this gets upset, just know you are ALL IN THE WRONG. And the only one who has the right to get upset, is Janine.

[EDIT] So I found another entry this girl made .. and she actually wrote about how upset she was that she didn't win the grand prize!! WTF... from her blog:
This is a blog, so I thought I’d blog about my feelings for once. I didnt win the Grand Prize for the Travel the World contest. Which is rediculously lame. Didn’t even care for the prizes, just wanted my pics/story to win.

PinkSugarIchigo and EatJuice Party #2!!! Yay!

The moment you've all been waiting for folks! Haha, ok not really.. but I was trying to be dramatic.. So after me and Lani eat_juice had our first photoshoot , we got to thinking and talking about how our next one was going to be. And we prepared ourselves this time! We did a lot of bargain and cute shopping at savers, got inspiration from haady, spank! girls, himegyaru and kaoru watanabe, and let our creative juices flow! So this is the outcome .. PinkSugarIchigo and EatJuice Party #2 - "Happy Time".. which is what we decided to call ourselves.. we have video clips too, but right now I only have this short little clip, where I show my newly decorated ipod and phone...

There will be a whole video up full of clips and stuff, hopefully soon...

But for now enjoy the photos! And there might be a lot, I got a little editing happy. . . ill also upload these on flickr and myspace...

Lani was laughing so hard cuz I suggesting making scary faces and making our hands like claws...

My brooch is from honey jee on myspace, my petticoat is from Hot Topic <3 eeee

Lani's petticoat is mine, which I also bought from Hot Topic..

See the purple mirror Lani is holding? I got that from Savers! It's a toy and when you look at it, you can see the doll face hologram and hear it talk and say nice things to you like, "you're beautiful..." a great confidence booster!

OMG! The castle that Lani got was also from Savers... yep yep I know, Savers this, Savers that! I found so much stuff from that store... But omg, this is the same castle that was in one of the Spank! Photos.. funny thing is that castle has been around for awhile, and I never bought it cuz it was so big and I only went there during work lunch breaks.. and then I told Lani about Savers, and then she snatched it up! Lucky girl!!!!! I've been obsessed with castles lately..

Our arrangement of toys for our photo.. I brought over a Betsey Johnson bag full of my stuffed toys. I let Lani hold them for me because her room is a nice home.. hehe.

Hi everyone! Just been busy enjoying myself with my bf, going to the beach, watching reruns of Heroes, Friends & Arrested Development, and working on Photoshop..

It's a little different than what I'm used to, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Oh and does anyone ever watch Suzi Blu?? Anyway, I stumbled upon one of her youtube videos, and omg, she is the most inspirational, creative, weird & crazy artist ever! I love her! Hehehe.. I really love her view on art and life altogether.. and she is so inspiring. I'm thinking of taking her class.. I want to make a pretty pretty doll.

I'm Pinksugarichigo. I currently live with my bf on Oahu, Hawaii. I was born in the Philippines, and I also grew up here in Hawaii. (I did live in New Mexico for 3 years 2002-2005). I'm filipina and I'm getting older that I do not want to share my age that much anymore. My top 3 interests are : graphic design, fashion, and personal growth. oh and Disney stuff (ok that's four things) Three unusual things about me are that I have strange food habits, like finishing 3/4 of a whole burger, than taking out the bread part, and eating the patty, I always make sure I have water near my bed before I sleep, and I'm really shy & quiet, but don't mind singing karaoke in front of everyone. I love shopping anywhere really, but my current favorite store is Savers because lately I have been addicted to buying old cute toys I can use for my photoshoot.. preferably Spank! inspired toys I seen in their photos. I am recently obsessed with castles. I also like etsy.com for one of a kind items, and the usual stores - forever 21, hot topic, charlotte russe, etc. If I could afford it, I would buy from popular japanese brands like JSG and Liz Lisa. Of course, my style role model would be Ayumi Hamasaki, and then Tsubasa, and Kaoru Watanabe.Oh yeah, my future goals is to go to school for graphic design either in New York (in the city) or Northern California (preferably San Francisco). After I graduate, I want to live in a high-rise condo with modern furniture, a hello kitty cute bedroom, and a huge closet. I want to travel all over the world, and marry my aspiring to work @ Pixar bf.
